Here I am, again, trying to make this blog more active. I was meant to do some form of a “My 2010” post but that never happened so I’m just gonna jump right into new year blogging. Or maybe I’ll do a 2010 one in the next few days… The uncertainty is too much!
I feel like I’m concentrating far too much on posting about movies. I enjoy it and all but when about 6 of your last 10 posts are film-related you really need to question what kind of blog you want. I am aiming for a more personal kind of blog. The only thing is that my life is rarely blog-worthy. Trying to decide whether or not what you did today is TP material or just for your 365 is an awfully tough business, you know!
As usual, I am over-thinking the whole thing. It’s a blog, Ian. Yeah.
So I went back to school after like 2985753 days off today. It was really awful to begin with. It just felt like too much. And I mean, I’m in Transition Year. It shouldn’t feel like that. But it did, and I won’t lie about it. I have all this work to do (yes, work!) that I completely blanked over the holidays. And it’s due and I’m late and lazy.
I did some work today though. As the editor of Coolmine’s (empty) Cló Beo page I need to be seen to be doing something. It was only a small bit but at least it was something. Right? Oh god, I have done fuck all. Kill me now.
Whatever. I have Mad Men on dvd to make me feel better. Who needs fulfillment anyway?
