Ohai blog! Haven’t seen you in ages. Sorry about that, I was away having the time of my life, but I’ll talk about that later. So anyway, in an effort to overcome my post-gaeltacht blues (Get me back on that island. Now.), I went into town today. I wasn’t actually gonna go in due to the fact I would have had to be in there at 10 in the morning (which would mean waking up at like 8) but I said fuck it, it’s summer and I should make an effort. Glad I did though, because the people I went in with are just so awesome and I had a wonderful oul time. Anyway, onto the important issue. On the bus back into town after dropping Orla off to some place, none other than Miriam O’Callaghan was on the bus behind us! Miriam O’Callaghan the sex-bomb off RTE. The milf of Irish television. The tits of Prime Time! I mean, look at them! Ok maybe that’s a little chauvinistic, but, yeah… that was chauvinistic. Is cuma liom, however, and it was awesome! She was on the phone and I was, of course, eavesdropping. Some shit went down and some man was being “very aggressive” towards her. I wanted to find that man and do something terrible to him. Mean to Miriam O’Callaghan!? You askin’ for beatinz mate. Then I @tted her on twitter and she replied to me! I actually melted. Look at this! I really should have, but she seemed very upset on the bus… Oh Miriam. Notice how she is lovely “you should have just come up and said hi” but then also adds in something thoughtful at the end “Buses - great form of transport”. Yep, I sound like a complete freak right now. I was just very star struck that’s all. That’s not the end of it though, because I also saw Donald Clarke today! Yes, Donald Clarke, the movie critic for The Irish Times! It was amazing. Like, I read everything he writes for The Ticket and the Arts supplement. He’s the only journalist who makes me want to read the paper. Like, he’s actually sort of an idol. I’m proper raging I didn’t have a proper talk with him… I could have talked to him for hours! Aaaah why was I in a rush? Why did he look so busy and have a bike… if only things had have been different. READ DONALD’S BLOG HE IS AMAZING. I realise none of you give two shits, I actually do. I felt the need to post on the matter though.
